Booking Terms and Conditions

Rental period

Ezi-Rent’s rates are based on 24 hour periods, ie. 1000hrs pickup Thursday to 1000hrs dropoff Friday is one day but 1400hrs dropoff Friday is two days.

Hirer

Hirers must be 21+ years of age and have a full, valid driving licence. International Driving Licences are accepted but not required. Hirers must have a credit card.

Insurance

Ezi-Rent’s rates include insurance. The following excess/deductible applies to every hire:

NZ$1500.00 for hires 1 November to 20 June
NZ$2000.00 for hires 21 June to 31 October

The excess/deductible can be reduced to NZ$250.00 by purchasing a Collision Damage Buydown at NZ$15.00 per day (max. NZ$300.00). The Collision Damage Buydown can be purchased when you collect your vehicle.

Additional Glass Cover can be purchased for NZ$5.00 per day when collecting your vehicle. This covers damage to windows and headlights.

Payment

All prices quoted include Goods and Services Tax and are in New Zealand dollars. A 10% deposit is required to secure a reservation. The balance is payable when collecting your vehicle.

Confirmation of reservation

A reservation is not confirmed until you have received written confirmation from us.

Vehicle type

Vehicle makes and models are not guaranteed. Images and descriptions are a guide only.

Amending a reservation prior to collection

You may amend your reservation at any time, subject to availability. No amendment charges apply although rates may be recalculated.

Cancellation

You may cancel your reservation at any time by contacting our reservations office. Your 10% deposit is refunded provided at least 7 days’ notice of the cancellation is given.

Rental agreement

You are required to sign a rental agreement when collecting your vehicle. Click here for a copy of the rental agreement.
